We had the pleasure of doing a guest-mix for the “Stuntman Show” by Cascade Records recently. Also, there’s an interview to go along with it, which can be found here: http://www.cascaderecords.fr/home/Podcast/stuntman-show-8.html
Many thanks to Cascade Records and Eletroom Acoostap for having us involved.
Pragmatic Theory just released their latest instrumental compilation titled “Light Works”. Beat-makers featured on this album include Elaquent, GoYama, Melodiesinfonie, Ben Bada Boom, Amin Payne, Shuffle Jack, Robot Orchestra and many more. A soothing soulful and jazzy vibe is what runs like a golden thread through all 29 tracks, making this the perfect soundtrack to start off the summer.
Robot Orchestra made a mix for Radio Juicy recently, where he combined some of his favorite beats with acapellas from some of his favorite mc’s. Some kind of rap-beat-mash-up if you will. This is what came out of it.
North Carolina Mc’s Azon Blaze and K-Hill team up with our main man Shuffle Jack to bring you this fine piece of music. On “Don’t trip” both Mc’s, Azon Blaze and K-Hill respectively, present a solid and effortless flow, which works great with the soulful beat provided by Shuffle Jack. Shuffle Jack on his part, impressively showcases his ability to produce diversified beats with constant subliminal changes throughout the track, yet still leaving enough room for the vocals to unfold to their full potential.
Self-proclaimed “Bedroom Beat Crafter” Upright from California rounded up a bunch of producers from all over the world to kick off a new compilation series titled “The Blend Beat Project”. The result is a collection of 20 Instrumentals that are diverse, yet somewhat consistent in sound and style. “The goal was to assemble a group of producers that would be enjoyable to listen to from beginning of the project to the end of the project.” (Upright)
The first installment of the Blend Beat series is available for free download on Bandcamp and includes tracks by Doc Mastermind, Prof.Logik, ShunGu, Nomad, Ja:Kova, Upright, Sixfingerz, Shuffle Jack, Robot Orchestra and many more.
‘New Worlds’ is our second Hobo Truffles Podcast and contains 50 minutes of synth-driven, spaced-out instrumental goodness compiled and mixed by Robot Orchestra. Including tracks by Amin Payne, Ben Bada Boom, Mute Speaker, Sixfingerz, Shuffle Jack, Bluestaeb, Chief, S.F.T, Insightful, Iamnobodi, Melodiesinfonie, MecsTreem and more. FREE DOWNLOAD on soundcloud. (The Podcast tracklist can be found in the track description.)
When Hobo Truffles founders Shuffle Jack and Robot Orchestra meet on a hungover saturday in Berlin, this is what comes out if it:
When producer Shuffle Jack and DC-based rapper W.O.L.M get together they mean business! On “Virtual Pencils”, Shuffle Jack provides a thick carpet of sound, made up of white-noise percussion and hard hitting drums, paired with strange vocals and futuristic synth-sounds. His production, combined with the lyrical contusions of W.O.L.M member Shamir make for a great listen. But see for yourselfs… The future is now!
OMEN assembled a band of producers on this compilation titled “Signs 1 – The Soothsayers”. What’s quite interesting about this project is that all participants were asked to imagine what they would sound like 30-40 years from now. The result is a collection of 21 diversified tracks ranging from futuristic jazz-based beats to heavy synth-bangers.
Featured artists include: Handbook, Knowsum, Bugseed, Shuffle Jack, Robot Orchestra, J.Vibes and many more.
“Signs 1 – The Soothsayers” is available in digital format as well as on tape.
